Ideation Station LLC is a for profit social purpose organization that promotes economic opportunity, increasing the flow of capital and job creation for individuals, startups, and small businesses, using the coworking community center business model. Our mission is to advocate for the cultural arts as economic drivers and to accelerate the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Texoma. We are where the Texoma’s Entrepreneurial and Creative Community Collaborate.
Our collaborators, members and users are artists, executives, artisans, scientists, educators, writers, speakers, remote workers, sales executives, coaches and therapists, attorneys and law offices, home health enterprises and businesses and people you know. By joining this community you can avail yourself and your team of an array of physical spaces and collaboration tools to stay connected with your collaborators, coworkers, customers and allied organizations. We have interest groups, events and information that will help you accelerate your own efforts. We offer dedicated offices, co-working, gallery, conference/training room and resources to help you close the gap between your idea and execution.
Coworking – Access to our space is provided using the coworking model. Members can get access to different types of spaces based on their business and work needs. We have 14 office or studio spaces of approximately 130 square feet each, as well as multiple open coworking areas that also serve as an Art Gallery, and three conference/meeting rooms (one of which is a featured artist Gallery Room). Memberships range from address and mail service (put your business on the map), to coworking, dedicated desk and dedicated office. See our Memberships Page for more detail.
Gallery Off the Square – We feature local artists in our Gallery and encourage meetups and study groups to “feed the Artist”. Read more about this on our blog available on the home page. We also market our artists online in social media and our online Gallery. For us, the Gallery Off the Square is more than just the retail display, cataloging of art and representing artists, it is the development and amplification of our local cultural arts community. We offer a place at the table for literary arts, performance arts, the visual arts and artisans of all mediums and expression. Become a Patron!
1MCShermanTX – 1 Million Cups Sherman Texas is a weekly event in our Gallery Room in the Collaboration Station Coworking area. Every week, entrepreneurs present their startup companies to their communities and learn how their community can help support their business to flourish. It’s not a sales pitch, and it’s not an investor pitch. The goal is to have people understand what you do and some of the challenges you have had in building your business. If you are building an income stream from your work in the arts, knowledge, entrepreneurial or start-up economy or “gigs”, this is the community for you. Join us!
