Singer, songwriters Peggy Houlihan, on guitar, and Rachel Yeatts, on mandolin, will perform their original folk and bluegrass music swapping songs and accompanying one another. Join us for an afternoon of original Americana and cultural arts! Plus, there will be pecan pie and refreshments. You may also bring your own.
Each meetup will focus on a different topic of artistic expression.
This week’s meetup is fiber arts! Join us to meet passionate makers and bring any type of fiber-based project to work on including: sewing, embroidery, knitting, crochet, weaving, cross stitch, macrame, collage, patchwork quilting, you name it. We have some scrap fabric, knitting yarn, and ribbon available for use, but if your project requires special supplies, please bring them with you.
While the event is free to attend, any donations you are willing to make are greatly appreciated 🙂 Your support helps the Ghost Town Arts Collective continue to offer free or low-cost art workshops for the people in the Texoma and greater North Texas region!
