Registration Opens: June 14, 2019

Deadline (late fee required): August 1, 2019 by 5 pm ET
2019 Judging Dates: August 18 – 23, 2019

The International Photographic Competition (IPC) is where photographers from all over the world submit their best photos to see how they stack up against the 12 Elements of a Merit Image. Learn more about the IPC here: PPA.com/events/photo-competitions/ipc-international-photographic-competition-overview

A panel of jurors from across the United States selects the top images from thousands of submitted entries each year. The highest-scoring images are then selected to be part of PPA’s General Collection and its esteemed Loan Collection—the best of the best.

PPA’s Loan Collection images are published each year in the much-anticipated “Loan Collection” book and over 200 selected General Collection images are published in its sister edition, the “Showcase” book, produced by Marathon Press.

All merited and Loan images will also be on display at the IPC Exhibit at Imaging USA, held January 20-22, 2019. And the winners at the IPC are then eligible for the Grand Imaging Awards, which are also presented each year at Imaging USA.

August 22 Story Time: Giraffes Can’t Dance @ Pickles & Pottery
Aug 22 @ 10:30 am – 11:00 am

Story Time is every Thursday at 10:30am! Any age is welcome, but stories and activities are geared toward 2 – 5 years.

We’ll be reading “Giraffes Can’t Dance” by Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees. Gerald the Giraffe feels so left out at the Jungle Dance when all of the other animals dance so well. Then a cricket helps him find his way… will Gerald go back to the dance?

Following story time we’ll be painting a giraffe for 20% off (reg. $12).

No sign-up required, we hope to see you at the studio!
