Dr. Steph loves Texoma and is very involved in the community. She is often out and about with her, and even her friends’ or strangers’, dogs, and with her husband enjoying all the activities and adventures our wonderful and small community has to offer. Stephanie grew up here Texoma and is proud of our quiet and unique way of life.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a PhD in Health Psychology and over 10 years experience working with women, men, and adolescents who struggle with eating disorders, trauma, self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.
She has helped hundreds of people overcome eating disorders, trauma, and adversity to find happiness, healing, and confidence. She journeys with the people she coaches and counsels to replace self-harming behaviors, overcome disordered eating, improve self-esteem, and find self-worth.
In addition to her formal education, her personal experiences help her relate on a level of ‘knowing’ what clients are experiencing. She will tell you she spent several years consumed with eating and body image as a fitness professional.
Stephanie was a member of the team that developed the eating disorder program at Timberline Knolls. Her experience includes working with people dealing with eating disorders in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings.
Her approach is non-diet, intuitive eating, and Health At Every Size. She is pursuing an Eating Disorder Specialist Certification through the International Association of Eating Disorders Professional Foundation (IAEDP) and a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, view her profile here.
