WOVI Sherman

Join the women of WOVI Sherman for our monthly chapter meeting with guest speaker Susie Holamon, President and Founder of Geary Girls Ranch – A foster home community for teenage girls.

In the last 5 years of Susie’s retirement, she wrote a story of growing up in Dallas Foster Care “My Five Moms”. She also became a CASA (court appointed special advocate) to a 13 year- old teenage girl who is now almost 18 and has had 13 placements and 9 different caseworkers.

Her presentation this evening is “ Building on a Vision with a Mission that is coming to Fruition”

• The fundraising
• The build
• The foster home in Denison
• Helping teens

We meet at Gallery Off the Square at the corner of Travis and Jones in downtown Sherman, Texas. Enter through the Gallery door at 101 E. Jones.

First time visitors are free of charge. Visitors contribute $20 and members contribute $10 toward our meeting and chapter expenses.
