The Friends of the Sherman Public Library will hold a Book Sale on April 12 and 13, 2019. The April 12 hours will be a Preview Night for Friends of the Library members only, from 5 to 7 p.m. – to get those preview shopping hours, see below to find out how to join the Friends! The April 13 hours will be open to the general public, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Books will range in price from $.25 to $1, and funds raised by the sale go to support library materials and programs. The sale will be held at 1000 N. East Street in Sherman (the building that was used as the temporary library).
The Friends of the Sherman Public Library have many levels of membership. Some of the levels are: $15.00 for an individual, $25.00 for a family, and $5 for a student. Other events and activities sponsored in full or in part by the Friends include Authorfest, Book Reviews, Trick or Treat Village, the Summer Reading Program, and Monday Madness Children’s Programs.
