Free public presentation series to preview Doc Holliday: Saints & Sinners Festival in Downtown Denison, TX. Charla Harris joined the Board of Directors for the Grayson County Frontier Village in November 2016. She became President of the Board of Directors in November 2017. She has more than 20 years of experience as a Board member and past president of several youth based organizations and more than 20 years of teaching experience. During her tenure, she has been very active in community development and economic development for the Village. Born and raised in Denison, Harris attended school here until 10th grade, at which time she transferred to and graduated from North Grand Prairie High School. She has a Masters of Education from the University of Arkansas and a Doctorate of Physics from the University of Arkansas. She is a member of the American Museum Association, Sigma Pi Sigma, and a lifetime member of the Society of Physics Students.
