Dr. Schulze will provide an update on the nearby Sneed property and what Austin College is studying there. His update will cover the past 3 years.

Peter Schulze is Professor Biology and Environmental Science, and Director of the Center for Environmental Studies at Austin College. His professional interests are in ecology, ecosystem restoration, and the potential to combine environmental and economic understanding to solve problems. One of his favorite projects is working with his students and colleagues, and Dan Dinkler and other Hagerman personnel, as they try to tweak ecological processes and thereby restore the prairie ecosystem at Austin College’s Sneed property. Pete’s wife refers to his time at the Sneed property as “tractor therapy”.
