Learn about shorebirds at the March Second Saturday. Dr. Wayne Meyer will talk about what makes a bird a shorebird and what makes a refuge a good place for them. Learn about their migrations, their wintering strategies and their breeding opportunities. Then Dr. Meyer will focus in on identifying the 38 species pf shorebirds that visit Hagerman NWR.
