Lee Harlan is a photographer and artist from Texoma. She has a degree in photography from Texas A & M University in Commerce and has won recognition for and several awards for her work.
Much of Lee’s work follows the traditional form of photography, but some are mixed media of photography and graphic art. Her landscapes are usually more traditional and most are from her frequent travels to the western, midwestern and southern states in the U.S.
My landscapes are traditional and are from my travels to Midwestern States and the Southern States. I like to think my photos are akin to a blink of the eye and a reminder that with a fast shutter speed I can capture things that could have been missed. But you will also see my abstract side in which I have added more color, textures and light. The world in my landscapes have many perspectives from that of a graceful bird flying to a colorful sunset beaming with color.
I like to think my photos capture a blink of the eye and a reminder that with a fast shutter speed or multiple shots you can capture images you would have missed or forgotten. But you will also see my abstract side in which I have added more color to a photo or have manipulated it with textures and light. Hope you enjoy my work from either side of my photographic style.
